The entertainment world is a world of constantly changing names and faces. Over the years, there have been countless young and aspiring talents that emerge and then slip into obscurity during their quest for critical or commercial success. Despite the odds and the nature of the entertainment industry, Free Ride has remained an enduring and influential force in the entertainment scene.

SCHEDULE
Formed in 1980, the band captivated the collective imagination of their audiences by bringing together the worlds greatest entertainers, live on stage. They toured extensively throughout Canada and internationally bringing excitement to a variety of venues including; Atlantic City, Las Vegas, Japan and even the grand opening of the  worlds largest Playboy Club & Casino, coupled with a private show for Playboy founder, Hugh Hefner. Line-ups and sell out audiences were an ongoing indicator of the demand and magic the band created at corporate functions, fairs, festivals, arenas, concerts and night clubs.

Throughout the bands forty year career, band members have come and gone. With those changes Free Ride would refine their shows to suit the members at that time. Though always keeping the nucleus of the 50’s and Beatles acts, tributes to both Elvis and The Rolling Stones were mainstays in the Free Ride show for years.
Presently Free Ride’s popularity is at an all-time high and the band has refined their shows down to three acts beginning with Harry n the Armpits, a 50’s & 60’s Rock Revival, plus tributes to both 1962-1966 and 1967-1970 era Beatles. Free Ride is simply the essence of showmanship! If you haven’t experienced the magic, make a point of taking in their show, wherever that may be!

The final incredible show starts with Free Ride recreating the worlds greatest rock n roll band, The Rolling Stones.  With authentic costumes and instrumentation, Free Ride performs all the hit songs from the band that changed rock n roll and the world forever! From Mick Jagger's famous strut to Keith Richards raunchy guitar riffs, this show will take you back to a time when rock ruled the airwaves. You have got to see the Free Ride show, it is truly phenomenal.
With three different outfits, superbvocals, and authentic instrumentation, Free Ride makes you feel like you went back in time as they recreate the Fab Four as they were in the early mop top days. The journey takes you through the 1962-64 years in their gray Pierre Cardin collarless suits, or the 1964-66 years with the classy looking black suits seen by millions on the Ed Sullivan show or the Shea Stadium suits from 1965. The authenticity of the show, right down to the kibitzing the Beatles were famous for and the finesse with which these four guys do the complicated and intricate Beatle harmonies, makes Free Ride one of the only Beatle bands in the world to leave you feeling like 1964 has not passed you by.

This show recreates the days of Brylcreem and 57 Chevy's. Along with you is the girl of your dreams in your own home town drive in. The music is covered by Harry 'n' The Armpits and their famous 50's & 60's Rock n Roll revival. Harry takes the stage with a little help from “Bruiser", the little brother of Bowser from "Sha-Na-Na", "Tommy P", the world's most "hip" dude and "Norm the Nerd", dorky, nerdy & ready to rock 'n' roll. This show will take you back to the days of twisting and the.musical greats like Bill Haley, Roy Orbison, Del Shannon and Dion. This show also involves a lot of audience participation (especially the groovy chics) and an extremely HIGH level of comedy.
